Lenny and Jennifer are animal lovers, boasting a menagerie of several horses, house, and barn cats. Jennifer has no memories without horses. She was in her first horse show at 6 months of age (as soon as she could sit up well) and grew up showing Quarter Horses, then moved over to a Thoroughbred and evented for several years until finding her heart's desire in dressage. She competes extensively in USDF-recognized competitions around the Region.

Jennifer fulfilled a dream when she represented her USDF Region and the United States in dressage at the North American Young Rider's Championships in the mid-90's. She followed up that lifetime high with buying a youngster and having to wait three years to ride her own horse again. That baby was a little bay 7 month old Andalusian/Holsteiner cross named Nachtwind (Breezy) and she was to become Jennifer's next dressage mount. Breezy is not only a talented dressage horse, but she also loves to strut harnessed to her elegant antique village cart. Breezy, having once been an only horse, now has to share the spotlight with Lydia, a grey Trakehner/Hanoverian cross mare purchased from Hilda Gurney in 2002, and Lydia's little half-sister Lisalotte, who is also a grey Trakehner/Hanoverian cross mare purchased from Hilda.

The solid foundation of this busy family and farm is Lenny. An aerospace engineer (a real-life rocket scientist) by trade, he enjoys constantly improving the farm. He is always on the lookout for something to invent, design or build, including building potato guns and cannons. When he finds free time (free time seems be lost and in need of being found), he also loves to fly his fleet of radio-controlled airplanes, play foosball, softball and basketball (really anything with a ball will do — wanna come over and play?). He also finds great joy in doing anything that involves his big toy-the tractor. Even though he is relatively new to the horse world, he has become a very gifted ground coach for Jennifer as she trains their youngsters up the levels. He also excels in his role as the best horse show husband on the planet.
