"Selecting riders to sponsor can be a daunting decision for a saddle company. What I personally look for when selecting candidates for sponsorship is obviously talent but, for me, it's more than that. I look for character and personal integrity. I don't care how talented a rider is, if they lack these two attributes then they are not a good match for me personally or professionally.
When I met Jennifer and her husband Lenny I knew that this was going to be a lasting relationship. Jennifer was everything and more that I was looking for in a rider to sponsor and Lenny won the prize for making it easy for me to have a conversation with a real life rocket scientist! These are salt of the earth people who I am proud to be associated with.
I have witnessed Jennifer's transition from Amateur to Professional status and couldn't be more proud of her. She and her horses have amazing talent and Jennifer is the consummate professional. I look forward to many years together!"

"Jen is the most honest, genuine, and true person I have ever known. She has never steered my horse and I wrong. Her horses are so devoted to her and love her so much. They show it in their eyes and body expression when she rides them. Even when she walks in the aisle, they crave her attention and unconditional love. That speaks volumes about what kind of trainer and person she is. There are no words that describe how lucky my horse and I are to have found her and her barn family on our journey through life. Her lessons are not only riding lessons, but life lessons."
– Angie Dyer and Teddy Spaghetty, DHF boarder and lesson student
"I really appreciate the great care DHF provides for my horse. Since he suffered a serious injury, it is difficult to find a boarding situation for him since he requires special care to keep him sound and healthy enough to ride. I also appreciate the valuable instruction which will help me ride him in a way that will continue to keep him happy and sound. I really love the farm and all of its amenities. I know my horse likes it because he is happy and healthy."
– Pam Carter and Pavi, DHF boarder and lesson student
"Jennifer Truett is a great teacher and a joy to work with. She keeps me focused and relaxed, but pushes me just enough in each lesson to achieve more in the next. She challenges me to challenge myself.
I've worked and ridden at several facilities and Dancing Horse Farm shines among them as the only one to fully incorporate a well run business with the love and, more importantly, respect of the horse."
– Patricia D. Ryan, DHF lesson student
"I have boarded at several facilities in both Florida and the Mid West and Dancing Horse Farm is by far one of the best facilities I've been at. The care is super, the facility is wonderful, the turn out is great, the staff is caring and helpful, and Jennifer and her husband are approachable, knowledgeable, and down to earth. Such nice qualities!
One of the best things about Dancing Horse Farm is the atmosphere. It doesn't matter what level you ride, what discipline you love, or what breed of horse you own, there is something for everyone at Dancing Horse Farm. Whether you are an experienced or novice rider you can take quality lessons, improve your position in the saddle, take part in educational opportunities at the farm, or just ride and enjoy your horse. While I am a dressage rider who loves the training process of riding, first and foremost I am someone who loves horses. This desire to "have fun while learning" is felt when you step onto the property and echoed by everyone at Dancing Horse Farm. I'm so glad that Jennifer and Lenny decided to move back to Ohio and make Dancing Horse Farm their new home!"
– Theresa Bush, DHF boarder and lesson student
"I learned at least 10 very concrete riding tips at the Rider's Biomechanics Clinic you had with Sandy Howard. I loved the 3 hrs of lecture and videos and then watching the riders. I have to tell you that I was able to apply the 10 things I learned and added them to the new foundation you have been reconstructing in my riding…and yesterday's ride was FABULOUS! It was amazing and incredible and I was thrilled at the end of the ride that I had a good understanding of why it went well.
I need to tell you that being here and riding with you and the caliber of professionals you are bringing to your farm is an answer to many, many prayers and after hours upon hours of frustrating rides where I always seemed to be stuck and run into a wall. I have always felt there were some major components I was missing in my riding and theory but none of the farms I rode at in Oregon were able to address the root of my missing holes that addressed the roots of the issues. I have gone through a lot to be here in Ohio and the obstacles that I have had to overcome in the 2 1/2 yrs I have been here have almost caused me to quit and go home. I had lost the bigger picture and was losing hope of being able to continue riding due to my body pain and problems and being homesick and not wanting to be here. You know God answers prayers in His time and in His way and I had such a hard time accepting that he wanted me here in Ohio. I figured that He just did not want me to ride anymore and that the dreams I have had on using Stillwater Stables to work with kids was just a fantasy and the thing of the past. But in the past four months the instruction that I have received has been exactly what I have needed to address the holes that I have felt for such a long time. After my ride yesterday I have never felt so relaxed and part of the horse. My girls that were here were watching my ride and have been watching my progress for quite awhile were amazed at the sitting trot and the canter and told me it was really good and that it was the best they had ever seen me ride. They said that it looked so smooth. During the sitting trot I felt part of Cedar's back and the canter left was unbelievable and felt effortless. It truly is beginning to feel like worship.
God has truly used you to inspire me, to show me that dreams are worth chasing after no matter the circumstance, and to guide me to be the horse professional I desire to be. Thank you for being so nice and taking me and my riding seriously."
– Connie Patrick, DHF Lesson Student
"I've had lessons from many different barns in the few years I have been riding and none compare to DHF and Jennifer. She is a fabulous teacher who really cares about her students. I am very impressed by her teaching technique, if I don't understand something or am having trouble with a concept she does her best to explain it which I appreciate.
The barn and it's amenities are wonderful and the staff who care for the horses are great. I'm so glad I found this barn so close to where I live; it took almost 2 years but I've finally found a barn in this area that I enjoy riding at."
– Vicki Wilson, DHF Lesson Student
"Dancing Horse Farm is by far the most professionally run and well kept boarding stable I have ever been associated with during my nearly 20 years of horse ownership. At DHF I have the peace of mind of always knowing my horses will be well taken care of when I can't be at the farm because I'm away on business or at home spending time with my family. The facilities at DHF are excellent as well and provide the optimal environment for continuing my dressage education. There are also some bonus educational opportunities at DHF that I have never had access to before—the USDF sponsored educational clinics are a good example. Finally, I have a great deal of respect for Jennifer as both a rider and trainer. I highly recommend boarding and training at DHF."
– Janice Beckett, DHF Boarder and Training Client
"I spoke to Marylou Braun at Pilates tonight and she told me you moved back to the area. Glad to hear things are going well for you. Good luck with the new facility. It looks nice.
I have put all my time into fox hunting and really enjoy it. I could always use more dressage. I know you didn't teach me long but I learned more from you then anyone else!"
– Pam Grusz, Past Student of Jennifer
"Jen is a very knowledgeable and accomplished rider and understands the mechanics of riding extremely well. She is able to impart this knowledge clearly and patiently. Jen has great concern for the horse's comfort and is careful to fit saddles to them individually with in-depth understanding.
Jen has an impressive network of professionals, and sponsors wonderful and useful seminars at DHF which I have found unequaled heretofore."
– Lori Aman, DHF Lesson Student
"I have had horses for many more years than I would like to think about and have boarded my horses at many farms. I teach, train, give clinics and am a United States Equestrian Federation Official. In this capacity, I have visited many stables and farms throughout the Unites States. Dancing Horse Farm is without a doubt, one of the best teaching and training farms I have ever had the pleasure to be associated with. Windspiel, my horse, has been boarded at Dancing Horse Farm since it opened. The care given to all of the horses at Dancing Horse Farm is the best. I have no concerns when I travel that Windspiel will not receive the best care. The arenas and training areas are very well maintained and the footing is excellent; I would not hesitate to bring one of my clients' training horses to Dancing Horse Farm. I have looked and you can look, but you will not find a better place to bring your horse than Dancing Horse Farm."
– Cleon Wingard, DHF Boarder and USEF "R" Technical Delegate
"I'm e-mailing to remind you that I'd like to ride one day at the biomechanics clinic and also to THANK YOU for my lesson today! It feels like something clicked and I went home pumped up to ride Daiquiri. He was fabulous! We had some great trot work and actually ended with a canter that rivals his work last summer. He was light and so responsive to my leg with the new position that he actually did most of the work and not the other way around. Most of the things we did with Gus really helped Daiquiri too, since he's had so much time off he's been stiff. The "rail-car" metaphor was exactly what I needed to hear to keep both of them straight and for me to use my outside rein. So thank you again and I'm looking forward to my lesson next week! :)"
